Sophomore Ring Ceremony

The sophomore ring ceremony is a time for community and siblinghood. By getting my ring I am officially part of what Agnes students like to call the "Black Ring Mafia". It is a rite of passage, cementing myself as part of the scottie siblinghood.

In my first few semesters at Agnes Scott, I heard stories of people connecting with others all around the world, all from a glimpse at their hand.

I was fortunate enough to have my family present (being an out of state student), giving myself the opportunity to show them around all my favorite places.

I am so grateful for ring ceremony weekend, for my ring, for my family, for my friends, and for my scottie siblings. I will carry this ring with me forever as a reminder of my community.
